Amazing little spot for intimate dining. Fantastic food. Highly recommend anything with the bolognese sauce! Came back 3 times through our trip

A wonderful place with live piano music. The pianist was fantastic - he even came to our table to ask for requests and played exactly what I suggested. Such a lovely experience! The food was also amazing, and the atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. It’s a great place to relax over dinner.

It was more than amazing! They were open before 7PM(which is awesome in Italy), we have not booked before(what???). The only thing requested without the previous booking was “if you don’t mind to sit and place your order”. Everything else was wonderful. In Rome and having availability to check this place, do it! You won’t regret at all’

Unfortunately the costumers are mostly tourists due the location of the restaurant. As in Italian it’s not nice to be welcome in English. The restaurant is nice and serves Roma traditional dishes. During the dinner we had a man playing the piano that made the experience as “living in a reel”. Pain point food. Everything was good but you can find better next door. Nothing was wow. I tried fried fioridizucca (here we should improve the quality of the anchovies/alice) than I had a good pasta, guanciale and carciofi the ingredients were good however the souce was too watery. Than we tried their carciofo alla giudia. Again good but not wow. Same as the cicoria. Something was missing. Some pics below. The price is competitive. If you are in Monti neighbourhood and you want some pasta it’s a good option? But perosonally I would go for an aperitivo.

Wow wow wow! If I could give this place more stars I would! Where to even begin? The staff was amazing, very attentive and caring. The food was priced great, not too expensive not cheap, very fair. Wine was about 8 euro a glass, and it was excellent. Wife had a Pinot I had a Red, and both were excellent. The Bruschetta was great, tomatoes fresh, bread toasted, and thicker bread, such that the olive oil didn't create a soggy mush ball like some places do. The Basil and Olive oil were excellent and not overpowering. The ravioli was perfectly al dente Perfect size and just the right portion for about 14 euro. The parmesean was fresh and the sauce was seasoned wonderfully, no salt or pepper needed. Lastly, the pianist was a professional in every aspect of the word. He played eloquently and even took 3 requests from me and played my wife a bonus song He can play anything and he's a master of his craft, and it's easy to tell. I really enjoyed how welcoming and social he was. Our table was right next to the piano and I could still have a conversation without having to yell. Although with him playing you don't want to talk anyways because his music is just great to listen and drink your wine to. I would come back 100 times. Thank you so much Girasole for a great experience. 1000% recommend Brava, ciao!

Snug little restaurant with a diverse range of wine selections. Food amazing! Tried the recommended Carbonara and it did not disappoint. Was rich and flavourful. The lasagna was highly underrated and I would definitely recommend. Bonus points for this dog.

I visited this lovely trattoria with my wife largely because of the other reviews. It did not disappoint. Staff were great - they spoke great English, but also patiently let me practice my very poor Italian. Food was great. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Atmosphere was lovely. The live pianist was great - have the place a warm hearted feel. We did not find the piano to be too loud even though the side is not large. We could easily speak over it without raising voices. Pretty sure we'll be back before we leave Rome.

One of the more memorable experiences we have had in italy. Fabulous care and attention by the staff we had a very pleasant and enjoyable first night so much so we went again and they treated this extra special the second night. Good food good wine and a European Roman. experience what is not to love!? A few broken dishes and friends made! Opa Ciao Ciao Ciao!
